and so here (finally after a long hiatus of my not posting – sorry, that whole ‘failed’ concept seems to be ringing true pretty quickly) is yet another entry of some of my absolute favourite book cover designers, Jonathan Gray (or often known as Gray318), hailing from London, England.

to make matters more interesting, it turned out that he actually designed the cover for Newsweek 2 weeks ago (which is when I was going to post this, to align with it, but then I have no idea what happened). Which is probably a good thing, because I know whatever idea I had for that issues cover wasn’t nearly as clever, and it’s fun when another designer is asked to take a shot at it (like the Chip Kidd “Books to Read Now” issue)
